In 2022, the editors of Boston Common magazine selected Dress Boston for "Best Women's Apparel" in its The Editors: Boston's Finest list, The Ultimate Guide to Luxury Living in Boston.

In 2021, Boston Common magazine acknowledged Dress as a 2021 Luxe List Honoree. They had this to say:

Located in Beacon Hill, Dress Boston showcases effortless, timeless designs. The boutique offers a range of impeccable products, from designer clothing and accessories to divine fragrances and home goods. The picturesque storefront features smaller, niche designers, such as Clare V, Nili Lotan and more. It’s the type of precious shop to snag a special piece customers never knew they wanted.

In 2019, Goop included Dress in its Boston Guide. They had this to say:

On picturesque Charles Street in Boston’s Beacon Hill, Dress is the boutique for the pieces we never knew we wanted. All the bases are covered with clothing, outerwear, shoes, accessories, fragrance, and jewelry. Dress champions smaller, more niche designers, with significant square footage allotted to Americans brands, like Clare V, Nili Lotan, and Janessa Leone. The store itself is a serene space to shop, with extra-roomy dressing rooms we wish every store had.
