dress opened its doors in 2005 on Boston's exclusive Newbury Street. The boutique's name, dress, pays homage to the historically significant and fundamental element of every woman's wardrobe: the little black dress. While the term "little black dress" refers to the infinitely versatile wardrobe staple, it has more recently come to represent any single, vital fashion item in a woman's closet.
While dress offers little black dresses, it also carries a thorough but intimate and discerning selection of other essential wardrobe elements from awe-inspiring designers from around the world, including: pants, sweaters, jackets, t-shirts, denim, shoes, handbags, jewelry, and more.
